Our cooking education program is at the heart of the Slow Food movement: Teaching kids to take pleasure in the processes of cooking, eating, and sharing meals with family and friends. Our mission is to create cooking excitement and confidence, while teaching core cooking skills, and connecting all Connecticut kids to local, seasonal foods.

What we need from our Slow Food Community:

  • We need helping hands to work along side the kids
  • We need donations to buy class supplies
  • We need help getting the word out to the community through word of mouth and social media

If you can help, contact Renee Cook: renee@slowfoodshoreline.org
